Frankfurt, Germany

It's throwback Monday today. I was on my way home from school and then Germany came into my mind. T'was reminiscing on the 3-days trip to Frankfurt, and it just brought back so many memories. I miss the cold breeze and jaw dropping temperature of 1 degrees that I've never experienced before! , the quaint and peaceful atmosphere of the Frankfurt neighborhood we would roam around during break time, The cold store tucked in the corner of the streets; the salesman was pretty okay with having foreign youngsters at his store at 10 p.m.  Then there was Heidelberg! Such a breathtaking place. It consisted of quiet segmented roads hosting shops that sold mouth watering delicacies, which sleeps in old rustic Victorian styled homes.
Didn't managed to walk the whole area or across the bridge to the mountains which has houses built on top.

Nevertheless, before we made our journey to Frankfurt, Germany , our parents decided to do the ultimate shopping spree since it's winter there and not knowing the atmosphere there, it was better to be prepared! 

We retreated to H&M to help us with it and got good buys as well ! 
Bought my chiffon skirt which I've used here and here , Cream Sweater used here , Marching boots used here  and here and a floral halter top dress . AND a bonus Claire's Purple Lace 'in-out' Knee Length Boots used here ! 

In all . 16 - 18 February 2012 were one of the days I'd remember deeply and wish to re-visit again! 

 Apparently I set the date/time of my camera incorrectly!

Still had my fringe back then! 

 The thing I really miss most in Germany would be the trees! Hey, if you've spent 4 years in Bahrain.. you'd start missing the lushes landscapes of mother nature! So here's a big shoutout to you guys!

Credits to my sister who took this picture. Reminded me of nostalgia. The trees just screamed Harry Potter to me for no reason. Love that fresh breeze in the morning when we strolled this area.

Salut!

Its been a while since I last posted something. Got caught up with school and the upcoming models exams :(
But I have to admit, today was a super-duperlicious wednesday.
It was a IGCSE French Speaking/Orals examination today and the thought of my voice being sent to Cambrigde and will be graded sends chills down my spine. But I would like to announce that I did it!
I aced the exam ! *WOOHOO*

Last Saturday , We had a Rock Climbing activity and it was super duper fun and exhilarating! Not to mention how it test your ability to hold on to the rock holds and push yourself further up the wall. :D 
Yet again, the partners-in-crime had another fashion (coincidental) collaboration.

That Sparkly dress .

3 words - Girls' Night Out.

A couple of my girlfriends and I decided to conduct an official ' Girls Night Out ' at where else but the Mall.

Though it was quite crowded due to the inevitable holiday in Bahrain, we managed to accomplish a lot! 

Caught a chic flick film called ' Pitch Perfect ' [typical musical comedy/romance] and it turned out to be pretty acceptable. Afterwards , we did what every girl would do in a mall; grab a white hot chocolate drink from Starbucks and go WINDOW SHOPPING at our usual boutiques [Jane Norman, MAX , Claire's , Forever 21 , H&M , [Jashanmal Bookstore, Virgin] ZARA, New Look London, etc etc.] Batty [Batrishia] and I came across this very attractive and 'Sparkly' sleeveless dress. Bejeweled with sequins,all things shiny and of course ; Sparkles for the sleeveless top and the 'flowy' cascading chiffon layer right above the knee brought out the elegant factor of the whole dress. 

The whole day couldn't have gotten any better if it weren't for my wonderful mates who spent the entire day at the Mall with me.

Houndstooth? Checkmate!

HOUNDSTOOTH. The story.

Houndstooth, also known as houndstooth check, originated in Scotland at an unrecorded date. Its traditional colors are black and white, though modern versions use more colorful subsititutions. According to John Telfer Dunbar's "The Costume of Scotland," houndstooth was originally made on woven wool cloth, but it's since made its way to tweed and other fabrics. 
A similar style pattern is known as Glen Plaid.

My fellow friends were very quirky with their choice in costume which I very much fancied.

Daryl decided to dress up as her favorite character from Pretty Little Liars' Aria Montgomery [Lucy Hale] 

Aria's look is both sophistication and 'funky' . She's bold and dramatic! 

Aria is creative with accessories. The bizarre - the Better! 

Aria is also simple .. sometimes :) . I LOVE YOUR RED CONVERSE! 

17 year old Stephanie dressed up as a peculiar character that I couldn't put my finger on who she was. She said that it was just a random person covered in a variety of colors and fabrics. Nothing says Halloween without Randomness.

2012 Halloween Special. PART 1

Hello Bloggers, Readers and Muggles.
Tis; the month of one of my beloved occasion.
and don't you just love dressing up as your favorite 'villain' in a action movie or a just put on a horrific costume that scares the heck out of others and spend the entire night with your pals and simply knock from door-to-door, use the magic phrases 'Trick or Treat' and BOOM. Your bag is filled with delectable-sugary candies and chocolates. Yup. Halloween is just the perfect excuse for that!

For the past years of my vast experience during Halloween, I've been dressing up in 'cliche' characters (Witch,Angel,Mime and a Hippy). This year I decided to turn the tables ... just a little bit.
I was so-called the '2012 Summer's Youtube Sensation' Ms.Carly Rae Jepsen. It was definitely a close-enough success. Credits to Stephanie for hair and make up and Daryl for photography!
That night couldn't have been better if it weren't for Carly's perkiness. :D
