G O A L S !

About a couple of days ago, my mom decided to start this activity where each of us had to list down 50 goals that we want to achieve that is both attainable and realistic! At first we were like , '' MOM, is eating 50 pancakes in a day an attainable goal? '' or '' MOM, I want to be a Unicorn '' Just kidding about the last part, but still , being a Unicorn is Über cool !
Anyways, so today during our Homeschool block, I made the kids write their goals and quietly list them down!

So when my mom and sister came back from their training. We gathered in the living room and had one child recite their goals at a time. Sharlee was the first one and two of her goals that really stood out to ME , was goal #7 - ' I will go to France to meet Stephie and her family ' . That gave me hope that I'll actually get married. Hahahaha. the other one was goal #34 - ' I will grow taller than Scottlee and Stephie ' . And it'll be true, Sharlee! Even though I'm the 2nd oldest child in the family , my older sister , Stephanie and younger brother , Stefen are towering me! Not to mention, Scottlee and I are the same height. So I don't really mind if Sharlee grows taller than me, one of my goals is to be looking like the youngest in the family!

The next child was Scottlee, he had a pretty interesting list to me! Goal # 2 ' To go Sky Diving ' or in his case ' To go Diving Sky ' LOL!

Lastly , Stefen! I would often tease him about taking up some responsibilities in the house and with his siblings, be the man of the house or something. And today, he proved that he can be better than what I expect of him.
Goal  #4 -  ' Read the whole Harry Potter Series ' (I was surprised. Like literally!)
Goal #8 - ' Be more Mature'
Goal #12 - ' Eat 40 pancakes ' (Well I kinda predicted that it'll be on the list. )
Goal #16 - ' Try writing poems or stories '
Goal #17 - ' Start drawing '
Goal #18 - ' Grow taller than Daddy maybe around 6''2 ''
Goal #20 - ' Cook food '
Goal #21 - ' Play different instruments '
Goal #23 - ' Read the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series ' (FINALLY!)
Goal #24 - ' Save up for my mission ' (I teared up when he said that. You're going to be 18 in 3 years! I'm glad you're preparing to serve the Lord)
Goals #26&#27 - ' Teach Scottlee and Sharlee how to play Badminton '
Goal #25 -  ' Get married with ___ in the San Diego Temple

After all that, I suggested to my mom about keeping a 'fine jar'. For every crime, such as bickering, murmuring, complaining, creating misconduct, disorder, arguments, quarrels, and disobeying, there'll be a fine of 1 Philippine Peso ( 0.014 Pounds , 0.0084 Bahraini fils , 0.022 US dollars )
AND THUS THE FINE JAR WAS BORN.

Because of this little project, I decided to work on my 50 goals ! Will post it someday :)
I hope everyone has their goals in their heart that they want to achieve this year! Don't procrastinate!
Trust me, procrastinating leads to lots of regrets. And regrets can leave heavy burdens with you.
Wishing everyone a blessed and blissful weekend.

Salamat po and Good bye!

>> Fast Forward

day {16}

Ever since my visit to the Philippines on July 19 2013,  Life has been one fun, tear jerking, memorable roller coaster !
To those who knew the last time I visited the Philippines, I was just a teeny weeny 5 year old and I couldn't really take it all or remember what happened then since I was so young. So 11 years passed by, and then my mom got this phone call from the Phil , it was my aunt , she said that my Lola (grandmother) was having a low blood pressure and is already admitted in the hospital, she also insisted that my mom would go there and have a look. I cried my eyes out when I heard the news, my mom thought about it and discussed it with my dad , and the next thing I knew, I was leaving on plane the next day with my mom.

Upon my arrival in the beautiful and hustle&bustle of the Philippines, I was greeted with my cousins and was sent off straight to the hospital. Now note, 11 years passed by , some of my relatives were staying with us in Singapore for a couple of years so they got to see me in my preteen years, and the last time I saw my Grandma , I was just ... 9 years old? So, I did feel a little nervous at first. But to say, when I stepped into her room, and saw her, it felt like home. I received hugs and kisses and well , the smile of my grandma's face was just worth it!

Now let's fast foward >>

During my stay in the philippines, I had like tons of fun , excitement, adventures with my cousins! At first it took some time to get to know each other, but after a few adventures here and there, I guess we've really become cousins! Not to mention, I've met lots of awesome people along the way!

What broke my heart was when I heard that my grandma passed away on August 21 2013. My cousins and I got the news from my uncle, who got a call from my aunt in the hospital. We took a moment of silence, deep inside, I lost control of my emotions. Thank you to my dear friends who were there for me through the tough times. During the whole funeral and church services, what I really felt was peace, Peace that my grandma can finally take her rest from this fight from her sickness. Peace that we all know that we'll see her someday in Heaven. and Peace that we are eternally blessed to know that Families are forever. We love you Lola !

After the arrival of my brother Scottlee, a week after that the rest of the San Diego clan joined , well except for my dad, he arrived a week after Stephanie, Stefen and Sharlee. It was really great to have my family with me, I felt kinda homesick. But little did I know that , we were actually MOVING from Bahrain to the Philippines :O  Major shocker there because , I never got to say goodbye to the house, to my school friends, church mates and the city centre in Bahrain! :'(  But I'm profoundly blessed to have my family with me!
Here's a couple of shots of what's up last year!

day {1}

HAPPY NEW YEAR. !

WELCOME 2014 !

day {2}

My cousins, and their friends and my family, were assigned to perform a dance number for my cousin. Ate(sister) Penny's wedding. A total of 5 pairs dancing Cha-Cha and a little Swing to
Tiffany Alvord's cover of  ' Happy Together ' . It took some time to practice the dance moves, and that's what we've been doing lately.
Not to mention , we had a band too!
The SMS band which stands for (Santiago, Mamaril , San Diego)
It consists of :

Stefen - Guitarist
James - Drummer
Stephie - Pianist
Jazi - Bassist
Stephanie - Vocals

but that's when we decided to mix it up a little!

Stefen - Drummer
James - Guitarist
Stephie - Bassist
Jazi - Pianist
Stephanie & Ramon - Vocals.

at first I had a hard time playing the bass, with my oh so fragile fingers, but after a few practice, I got the hang of it and started to develop an interest in playing the bass :)

day {3-4}
Stefen , Scottlee , Stephanie and I were invited to attend a 2 days 1 night Youth Camp with the Meycauayan Ward, Bulacan. We were accompanied with our cousin Jazi :)
It was a such an enjoyment and major laugh trip! Got to reunite with the Young women and had tons of fun. cheering , doing water activities , etc etc. A weekend I can never forget! GO TEDDY BOAR !
#TeddyBoar

day {5}

Our church timing changed to the afternoon session (1pm to 4 pm). More time to sleep in! Hahaha
After church we had our dress rehearsals for the dance performance!

day {6}

Went shopping in St. Francis and Megamall for our outfits, for the wedding. Color theme : Royal Blue and Gold. Didn't get to see Nichkhun at the huge monitor outside the bench/ store :( so sad.

day {7}

OUR OFFICIAL LAST DAY OF DANCE REHEARSALS AND BAND PRACTICE! Yikes! You could definitely feel the pressure building in us! *Phew* but we made it through the day without any bruises or injuries and finally got the choreography finalized , but the band was kinda lacking alittle bit on the beat :/ .
After all the practices, we got a treat to the salon to get our nails done, and I have to admit, it was my first time getting my nails done in a salon and I didn't know the difference from a Manicure and a Pedicure, hahahaha. Even my little sister knew it !

day {8}

Ate Penny and Kuya Joel's wedding has commenced.
The bride wore a modern Greek styled gown with a hint of gold ! I actually kinda , well, just a little bit , teared up :')
After the vows were said , and pictures were taken , we all immediately made our way to the reception area. The most anticipated part of the reception was the performance. Hahahah
My Tito (uncle) managed to snap a video of both our dance and band performance!
ENJOY!
